| Introduction | This is my most recent blog. I hope to offer practical tips and pearls to physicians-in-training, as well as to anyone who wishes, or needs, to have useful information regarding various geriatric topics. I'll also intermittently include some interesting or funny patient encounters (while never revealing a patients identity). My most recent book, A Doc Who Jots, is now available at https://booklocker.com/12773. Check it out if you get a chance. My first blog was Patients Say the Darndest Things-the name says it all. I still laugh when re-reading and recalling certain encounters. It immediately brings me back to the encounter. My 2nd blog was Life without T-my journey through loss, grief and bereavement after the unexpected death of my fist wife, Tori. I benefitted from reading how others navigated through their loss. Hopefully, some have or will have benefitted from reading mine. It's been 71/2 years since she died. I'm now re-married to Jenni and we have successfully blended two families with 5 children, spouses, significant others and multiple pets. I could not be more thankful. |
