| Introduction | I, Holly Empey, was born some twenty plus years ago, and have been obsessed with words since. I read way too much than is probably good for me, and when I'm not reading, I'm thinking up stories to write or clever things to add to my blog. I sing when I drive, always have brightly colored toenails, adore my obese cat Diego, and write stories about warriors and weird dreams (but not always). In 2010, my poem "Inside Out" was published in the anthology Sunflowers and Seashells from Eber & Wein, and a year earlier, multiple poems of mine got published in my high school's literary magazine (although this might be due to the fact that I was on the committee, just don't tell anyone.) I suffer from fibromyalgia, and am currently working on not letting it define my life. |

What did you dream when you ate a spider while sleeping?
What did I dream? I probably dreamt about sleeping. That happens a lot. Perhaps I was dreaming about having to go to the bathroom; that always happens when something weird is going on in the real world, doesn't it?
