Introduction	I've been a clinical psychologist for more than 30 years. Although I've worked in a variety of institutional settings, most of my work has been and is in my private practice directly teaching people how to take control of their lives. In spite of high levels of motivation and desire, many people still feel out of control because they have discovered that will power is not enough. I have designed this blog so that you can come here to find strategies and resources that can be used in your own personal life. This blog is not meant to be a substitute for effective therapy, but rather a site to help find out how well the science of psychology can offer help to all of us as we proceed on our personal journeys.
