IntroductionWhen I was about 5 years old I started laying out in a corn field with some WWII surplus binoculars and keeping a log of all the aircraft that took-off and departed from Lunken Airport. For my tenth birthday, my Dad took me on an AA flight from CVG to SDF and return. It was a wonderful DC-4 - still one of the Queens of the Sky. I got my first pilot certificate about the same time I got my driver's license. Airports have alway been my second home. The most wonderful people in the world hang out at airports. When I make that last flight to join the angels; just dump my ashes out the open bomb bay doors of a B-25.
