Introduction	I'm a single guy in his late 30s who's been interested in domestic discipline for a long time. Either F/M or M/F would be fine with me, but once in a given relationship - no switching. That probably reduces my appeal to each camp, but there it is. I don't have a particularly strong attraction to either role, just a slight preference for the submissive. It's the sharp differences in their roles and the level of authority between the two partners that attracts me. I love there being a strong leader and a devoted follower each supporting the relationship in a different way. Power dynamics are pervasive in all our social affairs. Our egalitarian cultures mute them and rightfully so. But I also think encounters where someone unilaterally exercises authority over another can be great occasions for experiencing vulnerability and intimacy, and perhaps even the best form of partnership between certain individuals. Domestic discipline looks like a safe way to intensify and enjoy those dynamics. Maybe I should add a disclaimer to that? Something like "assuming the right relationship", because otherwise, to be frank, it sounds like raw hell.
