Introduction	Welcome to Chloe's Journey. We have been married for almost seven years. We were chosen by God to adopt internationally. We are in the process of adopting our little girl Hannah Chloe from Guatemala. Even though this has been in our hearts for years, we decided to put legs on our faith this past April 2007 and started the very long process of paperwork, home study etc. Hannah Chloe was born on 7/17/07. We chose the country of Guatemala because of our hearts for the Latin American people. My dad went on a mission trip when I was 4 to Mexico to help build churches and met a little girl there in an orphanage named Rena Beth that he fell in love with and wanted to adopt. She was also 4 years old at the time. We never saw the connection until after we had decided to adopt. We now realize that God is completing something in us that he started in my dad. Since finances have been the biggest obstacle in our adoption, we want to do something to help others like us. After we get our daughter, our desire is to set up a non-profit organization to help educate and provide grants for other families that are looking to adopt but may be putting it off due to finances.
