| Introduction | I am a reader, singer, wife, MBA, daughter, sister, cousin, friend, pianist, granddaughter, cook, member, aunt, organ donor... and mom. I believe that I have a middle of the road, common sense parenting style. I'm a big fan of following the American Academy of Pediatrics recommendations. I use cloth diapers at home, breastfeed my 13-month old at bedtime, and don't allow TV... unless I'm cutting his nails, or I have a migraine...(you get the idea) I also enjoy singing, a good book, cooking and baking, laughing with my husband, Trivial Pursuit, traveling, and getting a good deal. Before becoming a full-time mom in 2010, I worked in youth ministry, managed a home care program, and most recently worked in college financial aid. |
