| Introduction | I'm Ohio born, and lived the first part of my life in different cities there--that makes me pretty mid-western in my outlook but moving around for the rest of my life has allowed me to grow in ways that would never have happened had I stayed in Ohio--states where I have lived include: Illinois, New York (twice)Florida (twice), NJ, Connecticut and Nebraska. They all have wonderful things to see and do and with the exception of one, we have made good friends in each. My health has deteriorated in recent months but friends and family have given me hope. (AND I hope this isn't too long)! |
| Interests | I am a prolific reader--my library is extensive and now I have a Kindle library, I love to write, I love my family, my grandkids, and my friends who are like family to me, I am a friend to nature and animals of all kinds, I love to cook and last but never least I love to sing. |
| Favorite Movies | I am a movie buff and there isn't too much I don't like. "Dances with Wolves" comes to mind first then anything by Denzel W or Tom Hanks and Hillary Swank is a wonderful actress. I like everything from Drama to Comedy--we see a movie every week but my new favorite is "The Help" |
| Favorite Music | I prefer things I can sing to--folk music, some rock and some roll. I love jazz and blues and the old Swing music from the 40's (stuff my mother probably listened to when she was pregnant with me) |
| Favorite Books | Stephen King's "The Stand" (but I have all his books except for the new one. I like Dean Koonz, some James Patterson, Michael Crichton, Anne Rice and her sister Alice Borchardt, Dan Brown, Ruth Beebe Hill--I'd better stop |
