I like movies about music, and movies with relentless one-liners and dry humor. And sometimes I like movies that make me cry, like Forrest Gump, and Lars and the Real Girl. |
| Favorite music | Jack White's and Dan Auerbach's contribution to music, Wanda Jackson, Loretta Lynn, Patsy Cline, and other women musicians that paved the way for other women musicians. The White Stripes, The Beastie Boys, and the album The Chronic. Cake, because I like the word "YAH" and the use of trumpet. Gogol Bordello, Clutch, and The Fratellis when I want to jump around. Guster, Beck, Leadbelly, Modest Mouse, Nina Simone, The Raconteurs, Steeldrivers, Weezer, Sublime, and Regina Spektor when I'm by myself. The Deadweather when I drink whiskey. |
