Introduction	Human trafficking is one of the largest grossing industries in the world. The problems facing modern abolitionists are so multifaceted as to become overwhelming. It is our hope to turn Sustainable Abolition into a site where those involved in every aspect of the fight against human trafficking can join forces and work together to bring a solution to the problem in our lifetime. It involves strengthening impoverished communities where trafficked children often are born so that they have strong social and economic structures so their children aren't at risk. It involves working with and supporting local law enforcement to prosecute the traffickers themselves. It involves changing laws so those who purchase enslaved humans, for an hour, or a life time, are criminalized. It is a task far beyond the reach of a single organization. But as we work together there is hope for a change within our lifetimes.
