| Introduction | Sergio Lalaian was born in 1958 in Tehran, Iran. At age 17 as a young talent, he exhibited with Iranian master artists at Tehran’s Contemporary Museum of Art. Mr. Lalaian began his creative career primarily as a collage designer in the ‘80s. Today, in addition to creating collages that combine drawings with photography, he has developed a passion for digital illustration. Winner of “Outstanding Works on Paper” in 1984 from the International Art Competition in New York City, he received two full scholarships from Parson School of Design, New York City and the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena. Sergio has exhibited in Holland, Italy, and the Czech Republic and in private galleries in Los Angeles. He has a Bachelor degree in Fine Arts with emphasis in Graphic Design.
