Introduction	I am a preacher, that's what defines me. I'm also a husband and father. I've been married 39 years this May, have an adult daughter living and working in Boston and a son who graduated with his Masters in Library and Information Science degree in Indy. I'm the son, grandson and nephew of United Methodist pastors, and grew up in the church. I was a theatre major in college (University of Indianapolis) and enjoy the art of communication. So, preaching is the heart of what I do. I earned a PhD in Preaching and Communication at the University of Edinburgh (and lectured there too!) and still am learning about this preaching thing. In July of 2019, I stepped away from Pastoral Ministry and took of the position of Director of Preaching Ministries, working with Discipleship Ministries of the United Methodist Church in Nashville, TN. I can hardly wait to see what this new chapter will be!
