| Introduction | I am a Certified Professional Coder (CPC), Certified Professional Coder - Hospital (CPC-H), and a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA). I am the founder of the AAPC local Norwalk chapter where I have served as Presedent and New Member Developement Officer. My experience includes both administrative and clinical roles in professional medical practices for the past 10 years. I have coded medical records from home as an independent contractor for multiple years as well. In addition I am a medical coding instructor at a local college, online, and tutors students privately. I've interned at the Cleveland Clinic and am considered a guru by the AAPC. Future goals include obtaining my CPC-I credential through the AAPC and my CCS and ICD-10 teaching certification through AHIMA. |
