| Introduction | Grew up on a crop farm in upstate NY, and started working on my uncles dairy farm when I was 11. I couldn't wait to have kids so I could just "sit home and do nothing," (YEAH RIGHT!!) I am busier now than I was before! I have a husband, Wayne. He finally got hired as a firefighter (literally his dream job) at an airport in upstate NY. He just graduated from the Academy of Fire Science, in Montour Falls, NY (May 2011) We have two little, but very busy, boys. Jamieson, AKA Jamie is 3 1/2 and Cody just turned 1 the beginning of May. I have always had a love for dogs. My parents finally let me get a boxer when I was 16. Her name was Ollie. She lived to be 9 1/2 and then had to be put down due to hind end paralysis. I vow to NEVER buy a dog without having its hips checked 1st, or without knowledge of the parent's hip health. My second boxer, I bought, after I graduated from college. I bought her in VA, her name was Hazel. She acted like a puppy until the very end of her life. She ended up dying last March (2010) due to a cancerous tumor behind her eye. She was only 8 1/2. I still cry over her. |
