Introduction One of the last working trimming weavers left in England, Jessica Light produces exquisite, innovative and contemporary passementerie of exceptional quality. Everything is handmade in her East London workshop using methods dating back to the 15th and 16th centuries. Jessica offers a bespoke design and colour matching service for both interiors and fashion, and her client list includes Vivienne Westwood, Giles Deacon, John Lewis, Violet and George, and Precious McBane. She is also available for the commission of large scale textile instillations, hangings and lighting projects and exhibits regally. She has woven fringes for Buckingham Palace, The Sultan of Brunei, and the Ayldwch Theatre, as well as being involved in restoration projects for Ham House, Hampton Court, and the Queens House, Greenwich. Jessica has mentored for the Craft's Council, sat on the Mix Trends panel, and last year was one of the judges for the Koestler Trust.
