| Introduction | I am fascinated with the mechanics of the body, its limitations and conceptual possibilities. I dwell on the slippages that occur between fixed ideas of selfhood and the physical and/or social markers that define what it is to be human. I sometimes present work using the name Y. In addition to performance, my practice generates art objects; photography, video, assemblage, drawing, printmaking and 3D media. I look to built relationships between my body, its materiality and made objects/media in relation to a performance.
