| Introduction | The Kalahari Garden Project began in July 2007 with the aim of promoting food security and self reliance among the San Bushmen in Namibia. The project site is called the Corridor, a strip of communal farmland south-east of Gobabis, bordering Botswana. The project has helped and continues to help San families develop and maintain household gardens in which they grow foods such as squash, beans, maize, spinach and onions. |
