| Introduction | We are a wonderful card exchange group that meets once a month at A Scrapbooker's Dream in Bolton. We have a coffee gathering around 11:30am at the store. Card exchanges are an opportunity for new and experienced card makers to participate in an activity that challenges them to make a set of cards with a firm deadline. In a card exchange you are given a theme and asked to make a set of identical cards (usually 8-10.) Each card should feature some rubberstamping with a stamp purchased here in the store. The cards are displayed at the store. It is very difficult for the staff when someone points to an image and they don’t know where the rubber came from. This is such an exciting way to see what others are doing. If you are a beginner, you will receive nine great cards to inspire you. If you are experienced, the deadline will challenge you to keep honing your card making skills to create better and more elaborate cards. |
