Introduction	English teacher, travel lover, couchsurfer, and catastrophe attractor, I am haphazardly making my way through my 20s and (slowly) telling the story. In 2009 I moved to the rainy side of Japan where I have been teaching at a public junior high school ever since. I live with a ferociously cute kitten named Picasso, and I am planning my next adventure. August 2011 Update I left Japan in the care of new ALTs all bright and shiny with anticipation. I left my worldly possessions in various boxes in Minnesota. I left my beloved street kitten in the loving care of my parents. And after a brief week at home I left for an adventure through Asia and the Middle East with a backpack and a plan that is hazy at best. Let the adventure begin!
