| Introduction | I am a "real" southern girl, born in South Carolina but living in North Carolina *almost* ever since. I love life and try to enjoy each & every moment. Smelling the Carolina Jasmine, walking in the summer rain, gazing into the night skies to identify the constellations, catching butterflies (& letting them go), snorkeling & swimming with beautiful fish, ordering birthday cake for any occasion,playing with Zoey my Maltese dog, traveling, cooking (I like to pretend that I'm a real chef!), being with my family & friends... many things make me smile! I am thankful everyday. Travel is my passion and I've been on more than 40 cruises, one of which was half way around the world! I'm already planning my next one as I can't let any grass grow under my feet! |

What is my favorite country to visit? It has to be Italy! What was my most profound life experience -- 2nd to childbirth, it was one of 3: being inside of one of the Pyramids in Egypt OR crawling through the narrow, dark Cu Chi Tunnels in VietNam or being "buzzed" by Iranian fighter jets in the Persian Gulf while on a cruise ship.
