| Introduction | Over the last decade I have been involved in extreme sport. I am scuba professioinal with PADI and also involved in Emergency First Aid. My swims -Relay team member for the Round Ireland Swim, 1,330km@ 56 days, 1st Irish swimmer to complete 1000m@ 0 deg 2013 Bering Strait Relay Team swim from Russia to the USA 1st swimmer to complete the swim from Pacific to Atlantic across the southern tip of Cape Horn and 1st female to complete a mile swim at Cape Horn southern tip. I spent 5 years working with the medical elements of Ice Swimming, presenting in Vladivostok, Krasnoyarsk in the Scientific hardening of the body, 2016 2017 was invited to be a member of the teaching faculty for the World Extreme Medicine Ocean Extreme Medicine course for my work on Open Water Extreme Swimming. |
