Introduction Hello, My name is Chris Duncan I tend to be a leader in most areas of my life. I highly value the relationships I have with my fiancé Blair, family, and friends. I use to be a pro BMXER in the mid 90's to mid 2000's. After I retired from competition in 2003 I became a full time mountain bike instructor. In the past I mainly expressed myself physically as a sponsored athlete, but now I’ve shifted to other avenues. Today, I still ride BMX, but most of my time is devoted to a Vintage bicycle restoration company called Hoopty Bikes. I got into vintage road bikes through my interest in vintage BMX. However cool Vintage Bmx bikes are, they’re not easy to find nor are they practical. My love of steel bike frames and the SF Bay area’s very commuter friendly vibe lead me to restore vintage road bikes into daily commuters. Since starting the company in April, 2008 I have completed 40 recyclery projects that have all found their way to happy homes. “I’m on the Mystery ship and I’m enjoying the ride.” Chris Duncan
Interests I like to ride and have a good time working on vintage bikes.

The hair from your last haircut ... what would it say about your new style?

Why would you need a Hoopty when a horse can do the Job.
