Introduction I am a graduate of Provo High School, Utah where my dream of becoming the smallest player in the NFL ended in 1953 in a great football game against West High School, leaving me with my "football ankle" mentioned in my slide shows. I am also a graduate of BYU, was a Medical Specialist in the Army, and father of a very large family. From 1963-67 I was Vice President of Andersen Samplers & Consulting Service. I then spent 40 years in Guatemala working with Mayan Indians. There I supported myself in my agro-business. From 1969 to the present I have been the volunteer Field Director of The Foundation for Indian Development—FID ( www.fidproject.org). Since my return to Springville, Utah in 2002 I have dedicated my spare time to my photographic project in the High Uintas. For several summers I have been a “Skycall Scout” for KSL Radio’s Utah Outdoors Program (www.utahoutdoors.com ) .
Interests First of all finishing my mission as Mr. Mom to 2 remaining teenage children & the rest of my large family. Then comes helping needy Mayan Indians in Guatemala through the Foundation for Indian Development, & Exploring, photographing & researching the High Uintas Wilderness.
