| Introduction | I'm a McGill University grad, with a major in Linguistics & double minor in French and Italian. I spent 3 months teaching English in Italy, eating lots of gelato, flirting and improving my Italian. Sadly, my languages have gotten a bit rusty. Next I spent a year and a half in Boston as a young professional at a brokerage firm. Much as I loved Boston -and my friends there - the job did nothing for me. I knew I needed to reevaluate my trajectory. I moved back home for a year to apply to grad schools. In the mean time I worked at a pediatric dentist office, met some really nice people and learned a few tricks about how a health care provider's office is run. Hopefully this experience will come in handy after I finish grad school. Which I did get into, did I mention? After all that yo-yo-ing I'm back in Boston studying Speech Language Pathology. It might have been simpler to have figured that out from the start, but where's the fun in that? |
