Introduction | I discovered wargaming at an early age due to a piece in Battle comic although it would be some years before I finally got involved and put paint to a miniature. Initially I made 1/72nd WW2 aircraft, and yes they hung from my bedroom ceiling on fishing line, this was followed by trying Tamiya 1/35th armour kits. On a family holiday to Devon, I came across the first edition of Warhammer and Citadel Miniatures from there i was hooked. Initially I was mainly a role player - starting a large local club and playing all of the popular games but AD&D and Call of Cthulu being perennial favourites. After a while the RPG boom came to an end and I drifted in Miniature Wargaming. My interests are varied and I have collections for Ancients, Dark Ages, ECW, Napoleonics and WW2. Along with smaller collections for skirmish based games. |
