| Introduction | This blog is about my life, today in Northwestern Michigan and yesterday in Central Michigan - or the middle of the mitten as it's referred to by the locals. I love to take interesting pictures and will often post them. Genealogy is one of my interests and so at times you will see old family pictures here. Poetry is one of my interests and I occasionally make a stab at writing. Sewing is one of my hobbies and you might see my latest projects. Singing is an old passion and you may find song lyrics here. And because I was taught as a child to like a little of all musics - you'll hear a variety of music on my playlist. Gardening is fun so you might see my flowers posted. And last but not least, you may have to hear about my children and grandchildren. |

When you open your eyes underwater, do you ever worry that you'll drown?
This is a question hard to answer. Not really - and it is interesting to look at the bottom of the lake, but I have dreamed I was drowning often in my life time. So - it is there in the back of my mind. I have had severe obstructive sleep apnea all of my life and used to wake up gasping for breath. Thank God for modern medicine and CPAP. I no longer wake up like that.
