| Introduction | a mere year ago, although its now hard to believe, i was single, sassy and living it up in san francisco. city of my dreams, home decadent home. working for a wine brokerage, making a decent living, with a few great friends... life was good. i will contend that something was missing, but i had only a vague idea of what i was really looking for, what void needed to be filled. sometimes the universe answers questions we don't even know we are asking. my question, lying just under the surface seemed to be... "what next, is this excess really satisfying me?" the truth is i need to shake things up every seven or so years and re-invent myself. yes, i was itchy. the old hippie in me was screaming for a more conscious and meaningful lifestyle, but i was also just getting bored. so the answer to my un-asked question came in the form of a "suprise!" pregnancy, with one of my best friends. we bucked the trend within our selfish selves and decided that a baby was the answer to our attempt at growth and change. welcome evani... |
