| Introduction | I ran before I walked. It's true. My parents told me that when I was about 9 months old I pulled myself up using the sofa where I could stand and ran to my grandma. I've been running ever since, except when I'm not. :) The name of my blog - 420mile was the time I always wanted to run the 1600m in high school. My cross country and track coach, Coach Cook Holliday, told me if I could run the mile in 4:20 I would have a free ride at LSU. I spent 4 years trying to make it a reality. Below are my personal best times in high school: 800m - 2:02 1600m - 4:42 5000m - 16:52 I'm the type of person that is compuslive with rating almost everyting - my top five. I have my top five favorite bands. My top five favorite movies. Of course I have my top five favorite bsseball teams. The Atlanta Braves are number - followed by the Boston Redsox. There is my top five favorite songs. With respect to running, I have my top fie favorite races. I even have my top five most beautiful women in the world, but this one never seems to be constant. A new girl always seems to come along. :) |
