Dbee Robinson Artist - The Fat Struggling Menopausal Artist

About me

Introduction	Born and raised on Hayling Island and currently living in Havant, Hampshire, UK. (Visit my web page for the gallery, exhibitions and online shops) In 2009 Dbee gave up her job as a Quality and Environmental Engineer and moved to Penang, Malaysia to support her Husband in his overseas work assignment. There she rekindled her love for painting and studied Chinese art and calligraphy. She uses all different types of media, but painting on delicate rice paper is her favourite. It’s such a challenge, as unlike canvas or watercolour paper, mistakes can rarely be rectified. Even when the painting is completed it has to be ‘backed’ with glue and more rice paper to give the painting stability for framing which can sometimes damage the finished artwork. She has recently completed the story and illustrations for her second children’s book in the ‘Lilly Finds’ series, both now published and available as Apple eBooks. ~ Lilly Finds a Best Friend and Lilly Finds a Mysterious Rock ~ Due to their unique format, they are suitable from birth to 7 years, both just £2.99.
