| Introduction | If you're not immersed in the ski/snowboard culture (and let's be honest, not many are in the Midwest) than you probably don't have a clue what the term "Two Planker Girl" means. It actually sounds kinda dirty. Like I might be into some kind of "act" that my Mother would not be proud of. But alas, it simply means I am a skier and NOT a snowboarder. Two planks as in two skis instead of one big board strapped to your feet. So there, you now have had your ski vocabulary lesson for the day. Since I'm taking a 3+ week hiatus to ski in Summit County, CO and I don't have the pleasure of taking any of you with me, I am posting this blog to keep in the loop on all my antics (thanks for the idea, Amie)! |

| Interests | I'm a walking REI commercial: I love hiking, biking, skiing, camping, dog romping and pretty much anything else outdoors. Other loves include strong black coffee, sushi, Napolitano-esque pizza, smart people, nice people, cats, dogs, horses, pigs (well, this part is a joke, I like bacon too much). |
