| Introduction | I am first a Child of God. As I move through each day, joyfully peforming tasks associated with my various roles as Wife, Mother, Daughter, Sister, Friend, Realtor, I try to remember the true purpose of these first 70 or 80 years of life. These are our Pre-Heaven years, those we should spend preparing for Eternity. Given this perspective, it certainly changes one's daily priorities. Living this Life is a tough job, as the journey consists of twists and turns, not always anticipated, but certainly expected. As I am entering a phase our society has dubbed "Empty Nesting," I thought it would help me, as well as others moving through this phase of life, to write a few reflective words from time to time. I invite anyone in this phase to share with me. Keep in mind my journal is one that is reflective and spiritual, and most of my posts will be written from a place deeply entrenched in the Beauty of the Catholic Church. |
