Introduction | It all started with AD&D in 1983, then Champions, Car Wars, Battletech, Shadowrun, EQ (Talionis), and WoW. GW has been a unifying thread since 1990 when I discovered GW, and have been a slave to darkness ever since. From the first mouse marine box set to Eldar, Skaven, Undead, and Sisters of Battle - and finally in 2010, Tyranids, it's lit my creative spark like nothing else. This blog started as a ramblehaven, but somewhere along the way it became a Tyranid blog - dedicated to distilling the Tyranid competitive metagame, and ultimately, my journey as a wannabe competitive Tyranid player, a NOVA Open staff/judge volunteer, and the idea of being quietly outrageous; those of us who always go through the toy department no matter the store, and never forget Han shot first. You know who you are; it's why you're here, reading this. |
