Introduction	In January 2016, we relocated to a small area in-between Parksville & Qualicum Beach. The gardens were ornamental, over-grown, full of tired soil with unknown flowers, weeds and just a complete mess. After taking some time away from gardening, I feel like I am ready (re)learn how to garden in a climate that is completely different than the one I lived in for the last 14 years... I took my Organic Master Gardeners course which has given me confidence in moving forward with the planning &amp redesigning of the existing gardens and begin the process of creating paradise once again. I am still an avid experimenter with gardening in all its forms & would like to share my stories with you. Be.Prepared.To.Get.Dirty
Interests	Gardening: including dirt, soil, compost, mulch, seeds, cuttings, fruits (both native & cultivated), vegetables & herbs. Plus I'm learning to love flowers - mainly country cottage perennials, but I'm willing to give most a year or 2 to prove their worth.
Favorite Books	My library has been reduced by at least half due to the move & the need to purge the books I no longer used. BUT I am currently re-building my collection!
