Introduction	I am one blessed woman, journeying for the last 26 years with my man and mothering two wonderful girls, now grown. We are learning our way around our empty nest, following hard after God who's with us through it all. It's about Him I enjoy writing the most!
Interests	Reading and Writing but NOT 'Rithmetic, Studying, Traveling, Cooking, Entertaining, Painting, Bible Study, Blogging, Music, Old Movies (see below)
Favorite movies	When I say "old movies" I don't mean "Breakfast Club" or "St. Elmo's Fire" (I actually heard these qualified recently as "old". Honestly.) Early '60's on back. Love me some Fred Astaire, Gene Kelley, Bing Crosby, Doris Day and Audrey Hepburn. Those are the classics people.
Favorite music	Old Standards, Classical, Christian, anything with an electric guitar and strings combination, and some classic rock (70's specifically) thrown in for good measure!
Favorite books	I actually have some children's books that remain in my favorites:, "The Secret Garden" (with Tasha Tudor illustrations), "The Chronicles of Narnia", "Anne of Green Gables", I also loved the "Lord of the Rings" books, Today I love anything by Francine Rivers, The entire "Mitford" series by Jan Karon, Anything at all that hits the shelves with Beth Moore's name on it, Favorite secular writer: Jodi Picoult

When you hesitate before hitting snooze on your alarm clock, are you being lazy?

Since my dog is my alarm, there's no opportunity for laziness. Hitting him for an extra "snooze" is frowned upon.
