About me

Introduction	I have a Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education and a BS in Elementary Education. I have a passion for teaching emerging readers. I have a strong belief that a love of learning begins in the early childhood classroom. Before becoming a stay @ home mom, I was a first grade teacher in Hoover City Schools. I am excited to return to the classroom and experience these teachable moments again. My goal, for this blog, is to blend Web 2.0 tools with early literacy reading strategies to create innovative learning experiences in the classroom.
