About me

Introduction Mike Frost has been tasting and writing about wine for more than 40 years. His love affair with vino began after he was almost kicked out of a university engineering course for not liking beer. After a brief interaction with spirits, he discovered wine in the early 1970s. Almost two years of living and working in London in 1976-77 allowed him to expand his knowledge of the world of wine. Upon returning to Australia, he started writing a weekly wine column in the Brisbane Telegraph in 1978, with columns also appearing in the Cairns Post and Gold Coast Bulletin, followed by regular columns and review articles in The Courier-Mail and Brisbane News. He’s still learning about this fascinating liquid and cannot see the attraction ending. [Image by Tony Bela www.tonybela.com]
