| Introduction | I have been interested in genealogy since I was a teenager. I first got the bug when I found out my surname was not shared by my grandfather that should have shared it. Come to find out, he had run away from home and adopted the name of the people with whom he had lived. Also, I had a great-aunt that was the youngest of her brothers and sisters and seemed to know everybody back into the 1800's. So that's when I started writing everything down that I could, and asked for all the old photographs etc. I am now in my early 50's and would like to give something to my son and other family members. |
