Introduction	I am a Master in Public Policy (MPP) student at the Kennedy School of Government with a special interest in politics and political participation. This summer (2012), I am undertaking an independent research project on Arab Israeli women's political participation in Israel. I'll be working in collaboration with researchers at Mada al Carmel, a non-profit based in Haifa dedicated to social science research. This blog follows my research and journey to Israel. Through this project, I hope to explore ways to better engage this important political group. I am excited for the opportunity to undertake this project and would like to thank the Harvard Women and Public Policy Program and Cultural Bridge Fellowship for making this project possible.
