| Introduction | I am a new mom (our son is 14 months old) living in Modesto, CA with my husband, Rich. We moved here to the central valley so that we would have help with the baby and so that we could have peach and nectarine trees in our front yard and grapes in the back. I have just earned my MLIS degree after four years of hard work but sadly (or not) the job market is pretty tough for librarians right now. Luckily I have Ace to keep me busy! |

Fiction: Cold Comfort Farm, Sherlock Holmes stories (Conan Doyle and Laurie King's Mary Russell books), Ahab's Wife, Treasure Island, The Swiss Family Robinson, The Harry Potters... Right now I am really enjoying reading any and all books written about WWI. |
