| Introduction | Gardened in both AZ and MI (certified 'Master' in 90's in AZ) and was on Board of Tucson Organic Gardeners; love flowers, herbs and edibles, native plants of desert and prairie; less knowledgeable about grasses, lawn, chemicals, trees, roses, and shrubs. Some of my interests include green alternative spirituality and how that ties into plants, cheap and easy tools, seed-starting, landscape design, market gardening, compost x 3, where plants originate (i.e. Stokes Aster native to SE. US), and plant families (i.e. artichoke in thistle family). to move and set down new roots; to make my mother's garden more low-care as she ages 5b/6a, currently, and Sunset Western Garden zone 12-13 (USDA zone 8) |
