| Introduction | Marc and I got married in 2006 and spent two and a half years traveling, playing and enjoying each others company. Then in August 2008 we welcomed a baby boy, Jackson, to our family. He was born with a congenital heart defect called Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome (HLHS). He had his first open heart surgery at 3 days old.
