Interests I am not a lawyer. I retired from the Canadian military in 2009, having served 37 years as a military public affairs officer, the longest in the history of the Canadian Armed Forces. I am an adjunct professor of communication studies at Halifax's Mount Saint Vincent University and a writer about military and security affairs, and public communication issues.
