| Interests | I am not a lawyer.I retired from the Canadian military in 2009, having served 37 years as a military Public Affairs Officer, the longest in the history of the Canadian Armed Forces. Following my retirement from the military, I was appointed Nova Scotia's first Military Affairs Advvisor. I was then appointed adjunct professor of communication studies at Halifax's Mount Saint Vincent University. Concurrently with these latter appointments, I was the Atlantic correspondent for the Frontline family of magazines and the military affairs columnist for the Halifax Chronicle Herald and a freelance writer about military and security affairs, and public communication issues. |
