| Introduction | I am a poet. For the last 20 years, I have worked with people to encourage their personal journeys into poetry, exploring the different and wonderful ways we have within us to tell our own stories. I have put my creativity to work as a small press publisher, live spoken word promoter, lecturer, facilitator, life counsellor, film-maker, home-maker and erstwhile Dream Igniter. Along the way, I have opted to 'taken the road less travelled' (Frost) and whilst on it, I have explored the poems held within the moments of our lives. For me, poetry is the map I lay down and the trail I follow. It is my passion and my expression; the journey of being. |
