|Introduction||I'm a married mother of two girls who is a bit of a dirty hippie, but that's OK. I'm a medical transcriptionist who works from home, so I have the joy of taking care of young children while still trying to maintain a full workweek. I'm a crafty person, but not in the devious sense. This often leads people to think I'm "domestic" but I would hardly consider myself that. Since 2003 I have had a condition called spasmodic dysphonia. It's been a difficult journey, but I'm managing well now. You just won't see me giving any speeches anytime soon.|
|Interests||Arts, crafts, knitting, painting, drawing, comic books, RPGs, gaming, Killer Bunnies, pirates, Pirates Card Game.|
|Favorite Movies||Dark City, The Dark Crystal, Labyrinth, Mirrormask, Pirates of the Caribbean, Exotica, The Hanging Garden, Batman Begins, Hellboy, Serenity, Lord of the Rings trilogy. There are plenty of others, but you can see I'm kind of a comic book/sci-fi/fantasy/indie nerd.|
|Favorite Music||Gothic, industrial, "alternative", hard rock. None of that nu-metal crap or anything. Folk music is good, some old-school punk--not pop punk.|
|Favorite Books||Lord of the Rings trilogy, Fight Club, The Dark is Rising, American Gods, Roger Zelazny's Amber series, If Chins could Kill.|
You've got to make contact with the alien leader. How will you tell when the conversation is finished?
What kind of aliens are we talking about here? I'm sure that makes a huge difference. I mean, the conversation could be finished when one of us gets eaten, or it could be a nice, rational conversation where we sip tea and eat scones.
