| Introduction | I'm the white noise in the background of other people's conversations. When it's my turn to talk in a restaurant, the waitress asks if the others at the table need a refill. When I use the phone, I'm put on immediate hold. Sometimes when I *answer* the phone, I'm put on hold! I'm heard, but rarely listened to. People swat at me like I'm a giant mosquito. But other than that, I'm a real pleasure to be around. I'm a breath of fresh air, a walk in the park, a spring breeze. I'm a douche commercial. Yes, I actually went there. |
