Introduction | I am a civil litigation attorney. The law is my chosen profession. However, my true passion is fly fishing. I find peace while standing in a river in late fall watching the sun climb over the tree tops, my fly rod in hand. That being said, I am obsessed with fly fishing in all its forms. I love gearing up for each outing and analyzing a body of water or specie of fish. I love the science behind fly fishing. Most notably, I live for the grab! Naturally, I enjoy tying flies for each fishing trip. I believe each successful fly fishing trip begins at the end of your last trip. Where, at the end of your last trip, you store what you learned from the environment or fish. Then, you apply what you have learned at the vise and adjust your gear. So, that next trip is greeted with a refined strategy. The entire process is yours and yours alone; it is that freedom which makes this sport so invigorating. |
Interests | I pride my self on having a diverse set of interests. For the purposes of this blog my interests are swinging flies for steelhead, fly fishing generally, and tying flies. |
