| Introduction | I was born in a very small rural community and later attended Michigan State University earning a bachelors and masters degree from there. I have been teaching now for 25 years and during that time earned a law degree from Thomas Cooley Law School. I have always been interested in social justice and finding my place in this world. I have raised three amazing children mostly on my own and cherish the gift of motherhood. I have always 'given back' but now is my time to 'live back' and it is a very cathartic feeling. |
