| Introduction | Homes and real estate have always, in one way or another been a part of my life. At a very young age I was introduced by my mother to historic homes around Kentucky, her home state. I remember wishing that I could run around and explore without that blasted tour guide. Then while I was in high school, "This Old House" was born. Couldn't get enough of it. Next, I went to Ohio University (decided to go there because of the great architecture:>) I started out as an art major then switched to interior design. Unfortunately, I dropped out to get married (big mistake) so my advisor suggested I try Real Estate. Took a course at the local community college. Boring!! I was a night class the the instructor droned on and on and all I could think about was "show me the houses!" My next step was to go back to school in earnest to get a degree in Architectural Interior design which was an engineering degree. I majored in historical restoration, finally getting back to my roots. To make a long story even longer, I finally got my Real Estate license and everything has finally come together. |
