| Introduction | I love to learn! My home in Missouri, the "Show Me State," was the perfect place to develop my insatiable curiosity and bonds with family. After retiring from my career as a music teacher, I became obsessed with researching my family history and writing about my direct line ancestors. I soon discovered that my forebears came from fascinating places far from my home state and I wanted to know their stories. I started this blog to preserve and share the precious legacy of the people who lived and loved long before my tenure on this earth. Without them, I would not even exist! |
