| Introduction | His work includes Animation techniques with puppets, sand, objects, persons and 2D. César Díaz is a professional animator since 16 years. He started in 1994 as a 2D animator and has worked on more than 40 cartoons TV series and feature films: Frankenweenie (Stop motion), O Apostolo (stop motion), The flying machine (Stop motion), Famous Fred by Joanna Quinn (2D), El sueño de una noche de San Juan (3D) or CID the Legend (2D). In 2001, he started to make independent films in stop motion with puppets, sand and objects. These films where participating and winning awards in festivals around the world. His latest short films are "No corras tanto / Take it easy" and "Atormenta" . Recently he has worked like Animator in the stop motion feature films "Frankenweenie" (Tim Burton) during 9 months in London,"O Apostolo" (Artefacto productions),14 months in Spain, and “ The Flying machine” (breathtrhu films) in Poland, 2 months. He has also made commissioned animations for commercials, film credits, documentaries, music videos and short films, and is also a professional musician. |
